Tesla model 3 is the cheapest car of tesla and the biggest product release of 2017. This car model has the same technologies as the expensive cars of tesla but at a very reasonable price. Experts believe that the price of this model might make this model a great success in market. Starting sales have indicated the same. Harsh truth of this model is that you won’t get to use Tesla’s most fun car technologies that they offer in expensive models. For example, autopilot mode, all wheel driving and a larger battery. Adding all these to your car model will rise up its price upto a thousand of dollar.

The model 3 is said to be the first of Tesla’s electric car for mass market. Price for model 3 starts from $35000. It will reach to 0 to 60mph in just 5.6 seconds and have the speed of 130 miles per hour. A premium option for Model 3 will cost $60000 according to the details released by Tesla recently. The Model 3 has the range of 220 to 230 miles and has the highest safety ratings. The Vehicle is available in 5 more colors other than black. It is available in red, silver (two shades), blue and white. Any additional color other than black will cost a $1000 more to the customer. Additional long battery that will allow 310 miles trip in just one charge will cost another $9000. The basic model provides the battery for 220 mile range.

The Model 3 has 8 cameras, 12 ultrasonic sensors and forward radar. These sensors and camera are for driver’s safety. This car has an automatic brake system that will activate in case of collision. For $5000 user can get autopilot system to match up with the speed of traffic. It automatically changes lanes, transit between free space and parks itself. For $3000 car could be made fully automatic that would require no action by the person sitting in the driver’s seat. This feature is yet to come but company confirms that they will bring it out soon.

Tesla has made a goal for itself to produce 20000 vehicles per month by the end of 2017. Company says it will reach up the goal to 50000 per year by the year 2018. This means increasing the production 6 times more than the last year.

Last year company announced that the new model will be something around $42000. Although the Model is comparitably cheap than the previous models, a survey has suggested that the Tesla buyer were willing to pay upto $50000 for the new model.

Tesla’s new model is the one people are eyeing on. It is cheaper than the previous models but it still is not something everyone can buy. Adding Tesla’s popular luxuries add even more amount to the price. But no matter what it cost Tesla is in demand and will reach its goal of making thousands of vehicles in one month.
